Hello, I'm Romeo

1 am a civil/structural engineer. i design buildings and other vertical structures. my job and profession requires me to travel a lot every month and i travel most of the places in northern philippines and to include climbing up winding roads up the mountains in the cordillera region and the city of baguio, so, my pickup truck is my best companion. giving its potential in going remote places...i love my isuzu 4JA1 engine pickup with 32 inches all terrain tires..we have a vast area of sand dunes also in our hometown, frequented by local tourists and they enjoy riding the 18 kilometer off road course including sand boarding in the dunes

My first 4WDing experience

sand dunes and kennon road going up to baguio city

My recent 4x4 adventures

riding and crossing the cordillera mountains from aritao, nueva viscaya to ilocos norte. a 360 kilometers distance

Great destinations for camping and 4WDing

pagudpud, ilocos norte and the beaches for a chance to do offroading in the sand

bystanders and expectators come around to look my pickup whenever i park it

What modifications have I done to my 4x4?

4 inches body lift to acomodate 32 inches all terrain tires on 10.5 inches offset rims, ARB inspired front and rear bumpers, fog lights and a VHF base radio, installation of a pintle hook at rear bumper for towing needs

How I started to modify my 4x4 vehicle

i started in gathering articles about modifications, it took me more than a year to gather and carefully studying these articles until i came up with a definite modification plan

Tyres and Wheels:

32 inches all-terrain on 10.5 inches rims


stock suspension, no modifications in these areas


4JA1 direct injection diesel engine

Body and Exterior:

still on all stock body


still on all stock, only the seat covers installed

Other Cool Gear:

VHF base radio equipment for communication
