Transmition/clutch problem

Does anyone know why my truck won’t go into gear I can start it in gear and drive it but if I push the clutch in it does nothing it just keeps driving I can start it in neutral and push the clutch in but it won’t engage

If it is a hydraulic clutch, then either the master cylinder or the slave cylinder is not working, most probable cause would be lack of fluid, or it was improperly bled.
Honestly, this is not an easy question to answer with the information you have provided, and there is no way to tell you what to do to fix it without knowing what you are working on, the bleed procedure varies depending on what make of vehicle, and whether it is an internal or external slave cylinder.
